I had another call from the guys in India pretending to be from Microsoft today. The general scam goes….they show you the event viewer with all its malware and corruption, then get you to download some remote access software so they can fix it and then hold you to ransom as they show you how broken your system is.
Its deplorable, they know they are crooks. The only reason it actually works is that people expect that theres something wrong with their Windows system.
