Office construction part 2
For the new office construction I had to unpack the desks I dismantled about a year ago.
Then we just had to work out how to configure them. This room had its floor panels aranged for 3 rows of parallel desks when it was a training room, so the power and network points are in odd places.
Yes it did take 3 of us and a white board to try and work it out.
In the end we still couldn’t decide because of those pesky floor points.
So all that we decided was to build some desks and see what it looked like.
After a few where up, it started getting a bit more cramped construction site.
Figured out where to start one bank.
It took all day but I finally got them all done.
Then all that remained was to wire the tables to the power and comms.
Theres just enough room between the desks for me the slide under on my back and sit up. Another couple of hours pulling cables around the desk channels and I was done.
Then just a bit of repatching of the ports in the server room and everything is ready….for now
